Honoring Visionaries: Vision of Hope 2018
This past October, Boys Hope Girls Hope of New York held its annual Vision of Hope Awards Dinner at Cipriani Wall Street!
Though this year’s dinner was held later than its usual date in May, the fall gala still proved to be a magnificent evening where supporters, stakeholders, and friends gathered together to celebrate the successes of the young men and women scholars Boys Hope Girls Hope serves, as well as to honor two distinguished individuals for their extraordinary accomplishments in their respective fields, and their leadership and generosity in giving back to the community. These two awards are presented annually to acknowledge the recipients’ lifelong commitment to philanthropy, community service and to our nation’s children, embodying Boys Hope Girls Hope’s core values: to inspire, empower, nurture and encourage others to succeed.
Boys Hope Girls Hope of New York had the pleasure of honoring Founder and CEO of Tradeweb Markets, Lee Olesky, as our 2018 Vision of Hope Award recipient and retired, all-star pitcher for the NY Yankees, Mariano Rivera, for our 2018 Ann and Wellington Mara Award.
We cannot thank our sponsors enough for their most generous contributions in support of the nearly 90 scholars we serve in residence, as we know the work we do would not be possible without your belief and commitment toward our mission. And for those who were first introduced to Boys Hope Girls Hope, we hope that you will continue to follow us (and get involved!) on our journey to ensuring that NYC’s youth in need are able to reach their full potential.
We hope that you all will join us once again on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Cipriani Wall Street for our next Vision of Hope Awards Dinner, as we will be celebrating 40 years as the first and largest affiliate in the Boys Hope Girls Hope International Network!
