Over the summer, BHGH of NY’s new Executive Director, Joe Patuleia, introduced the Boys Hope Girls Hope Network to Melina Morris, Community & Giving Relationship Associate at Bombas Socks. Bombas Socks was founded in 2013 by entrepreneurs Randy Goldberg and David Heath after learning that socks were the most requested clothing item in homeless shelters. In the last 6 years, Bombas has created an impact by donating one pair of socks for every pair sold, and to date have donated over 25 million pairs of socks.
Last month, Melina and Bombas were more than generous to donate over 250 pairs of socks to each Boys Hope Girls Hope affiliate across the United States and Latin America in preparation for the new school year. We are thrilled to be supported by such an impactful company and we can’t thank Bombas enough for their incredible gift to our scholars across the network! #OneTeamOneMission #WeAreBHGH.
